Lauder Ukulele Festival 2015The small town of Lauder in Central Otago, New Zealand, came alive with laughter, love and music on Waitangi weekend 2015! Hundreds of people descended on the village to enjoy a weekend of fabulous Ukulele music, delicious food and often-crazy late night dancing. Barry, Diane, Bruce and Esme worked hard to bring the event together and it was a huge success. It was a photographers delight, the people were beautiful wearing their colourful hats and costumes while the spectators were bundled up on the first night to keep the cold chilly blast out. Children ran about through the crowds having fun in the fresh country air. “When you arise in the morning, think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive – to breathe, to think, to enjoy, to love.” – Marcus Aureliu Watching a beautiful dawn turn into a sunrise is a gentle reminder that we are privilege to be alive – Take a small piece of time at the beginning of a new day to sit quietly and watch the horizon. It is a miracle and a reminder that each new day brings a new beginning to your life.
